Stories of Hope
At 19, I left a warm childhood behind and stepped into a decade of homelessness—a winding path from Hawaii’s shores to California’s streets, through Oregon, Arizona, Florida, and Massachusetts. Those years taught me the weight of survival, where every day tests your spirit and leaves little room for dreams.
But they also lit a fire in me. I’ve felt the sting of unreliable support systems—services that promise help but often fall short. From dodging danger to scraping by, I learned resilience and a deep empathy for those still out there. Now, I’m driven to change that landscape, starting small but dreaming big: a network of real, lasting support across the nation.
“Years of wondering why help was so scarce turned into a quiet plea for action. I want a world where compassion lifts up the weary, where everyone has a safe place to land.”
